Simba has taken over as King and has had a daughter, Kiara, with Nala. While playing, Kiara happens upon and befriends Kovu, a cub from Scars exiled pride, and Scars heir.
I think this is one of the few times where I actually prefer the sequel. I mean, the first was good and all. It was nice that it focused on friends and family and growing up and death. But this was just… cuter… Besides, I’m kind of a sucker for romance movies where the relationship is frowned upon by the parents…
Anyway, I don’t feel like getting into this. The story line is basic so if i got too into it, id just spoil everything for the few people out there that haven’t seen it yet. But its one of the few sequels, especially Disney sequels that I’d not only recommend, but whole heartedly recommend.
