Story Kaneshiro Muneyuki
Art Fujimura Akeji
Takahata Shun is bored of life. That’s when a Daruma doll begins to kill his class and he’s forced to play in a death match.
The art sort of annoyed me at the beginning but either I got used to it or it got better. The reason behind the entire thing isn’t exactly explained. The characters don’t have much in the way of personality. Aside from Amaya, and even then his personality isn’t very original. He’s in his element because he has fun killing. Unfortunately, no one keeps what little they had of their personalities. Especially after the three month time skip.
It’s fun though. The games they have to play are entertaining. It’s funny and then people die and they die in a funny way usually but you try not to laugh… what I find annoying though, you only get “back stories” for two characters, and one of them was barely in it.
Anyway, read, don’t read. I loved it but the characters mostly annoyed me (except Amaya. Especially when he got excited or looked like a little kid Christmas morning…)
