Agetarou works at his family’s Tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya but has no interest in it. Until one day he discovers dj-ing and begins to notice similarities between dj-ing and making Tonkatsu.
So… the art reminds me more of American adult cartoons rather than anime. I don’t know exactly what Tonkatsu is, although it sounds like breaded and deep fried meat which sounds good. Although I question all the chopped of cabbage. Looks like they don’t know how to make coleslaw. And I have no interest in clubbing or dj-ing. So the “educational” stuff bored me. But it had its funny moments, the characters were stupid in a good way and the music was good.
So… I wouldn’t exactly recommend it. The music taken out and turned into an mp3 or something would be good. And I guess if you were interested in dj-ing and/or Tonkatsu I would be more likely to recommend it.
