Jake Epping is a school teacher who’s friend tasks him with going back in time to 1960 in order to prevent the assassination of John F Kennedy in 1963.

For the most part, this show seems more about love. Yes there’s stopping the assassination and trying to figure out if it was for sure Lee Harvey Oswald that did it. But Jake kills a man for a friend of his, this leads to him meeting someone that ends up helping him some. Then Jake and the guy he meets both fall in love. Most of the interesting stuff that happens actually has to do with the woman Jake falls in love with.

Anyway, it’s based on a Stephen King book. I’d recommend it just for that. I have yet to get through any of his books but the things based on his books are quite good.
