A selfish girl is sent by a fairy godmother in search of a blue bird.
It was cute. Interesting seeing Shirley Temple being a brat. I actually wanted to hit her a couple times. Especially at the point where she was complaining about how much she hates being poor.
But over the course of the movie, her and her younger brother go on a journey to discover true happiness. Which was interesting enough. But there was the odd part that confused me. It was like things were missing (which after reading a bit about the movie, there was a decent amount removed).
It certainly wasn’t the best Shirley Temple movie, but it wasn’t the worst either. I’d say watch it if you like Shirley.
