When the overseers of thee Land of the Remembered and the Land of the Forgotten make a bet, three young children get dragged into a love triangle spanning three world’s while getting mixed up in others business.
I loved the art (for the most part. Most of the characters were dolls so a little odd looking…). Maybe I’m just not in the mood for romance. But it was obvious who was going to get the girl, especially after the bet was made. And I didn’t like it. I didn’t think they were really all that suited to each other.
As for the story… I get it. It’s geared towards kids. But does everything have to go so smoothly? Why does it have to go that way? Why is nothing permanent? It could have been a lot more interesting if things were permanent and the used the fact that it happens during Dia Die Los Muertos to their advantage far more than they did.
Anyway, it’s fun enough and looks good but I’m just not sure I’d actually recommend it. ..
