Dr Horrible is a “supervillain” trying to get into the Evil League of Evil and trying to get the girl. Unfortunately, his awkwardness and arch nemesis keep getting in his way.
I loved this. In all honesty, I sort of hated the girl. She had no personality or sense. The “hero” was a douche, but that’s what made me like him (although I hate him? He’s just a good character…). Dr Horrible is awesome though. It’s not so much that he’s an evil guy. He has morals and he just doesn’t like how the world is and wants to change it.
The speaking as someone watching it for the first time, the songs were great. I was able to sing along with them, they suited the characters and they had something to do with the plot.
Then it had actual emotion. I was tearing up a little at the end. Which then soon turned to giggling. Then tearing up again.
Anyway, I highly recommend this one. It’s great (although cheesy).
