THE READING Book 130: The Tao of Pooh (Benjamin Hoff)

0130K0127. The Tao of Pooh - Benjamin Hoff
The Tao of Pooh

GENRE Non-fiction. Humor, inspirational, philosophy, self help

YEAR 1983

DESCRIPTION Explaining the basics of Taoism through examples of Winnie the Pooh

I should probably start by saying that I only read this book because of the title and the fact that Winnie The Pooh was on the cover. I know nothing of Taoism. It came up once or twice in a class I took in high school, but nothing about what it was exactly. But, I did like this book. The characters seem a little different from what I recall, but probably not enough to have an impact. It has interesting quotes. So much of it seems to be about just being. It seems like it must be a quite relaxing thought of mind.

The book itself is a fun read. Even if you aren’t interested in Taoism, I’d recommend this book. Just because it’s something that’s fun to read. Easy to read. I’d be more than willing to read this book again. A few times.

Book #130
Keep #127
Lose #3
