The Griswolds family Christmas becomes a bit of a disaster when nothing goes as planned.
So… I wanted a Christmas movie I hadn’t watched yet. I hadn’t watched this since I was probably around 6ish? Maybe a bit older. There were only three parts I remembered and two of those were probably the funniest parts in the movie.
I guess it’s funny enough. All of these characters are so damn stupid and they don’t ever seem to think anything through, so it is going to be funny.
I have one issue with it. Clark is all concerned about getting a pool and covering every square inch of his home in lights while one of his family members is practically homeless, living in an rv with his wife and two children. Even if you don’t like the guy, you’d rather get a pool than help your family? Sure, it’s largely his fault, but at least help out for the kids…
Anyway, if you find this sense of humour funny (which in my opinion is mostly physical humor, with the odd other thing tossed in), go for it.
