DESCRIPTION Vol 4: Bandit Tamahome has gone to Yui to prevent a war. Miaka and the rest go searching for the remaining three Celestial Warriors which leads them into a group of bandits and a town with a plague.
Vol 5: Rival Miaka finds the final warrior and is able to get Tamahome back. However, Yui and Nakago have other plans for Miaka, Tamahome and the rest of Suzaku’s warriors.
Vol 6: Summoner Miaka must get Tamahome to return and the lot prepare to summon Suzaku. Unfortunately, Nakago has plans of his own for the Suzaku Celestial Warriors.
Vol 4: Bandit I feel like the story starts to pick up some in this volume. Although there are zombies. Nice if you like that kinda thing… but if you don’t then… meh… oddly enough though, Miaka isn’t naked for half the volume. In a way it makes me kinda sad…
Vol 5: Rival This volume made me really hate Yui. She annoyed me before they got pulled into this world. She was horrible after Miaka went back to find her. But she takes her jealousy of someone that should be her best friend too far. She blames Miaka for everything bad that happened to her and then takes it out as cruel as possible on not only the girl she’s been friends with for years, but a boy that has nothing to do with anything. I hope they kill her off instead of trying to make her likeable. No matter what they do, there’s no way she could be after all she did this volume.
Vol 6: Summoner starts to make the story much more interesting. Sure, things may not have been the easiest up to this point… but things were going a little to easy. So, of course that had to be destroyed and they had to make it so the story lasts longer. So, fuck them over and make it so they have to go on what is most likely going to be a long ass, overly complicated journey starting next volume. But, does that really matter? Things are starting to get good now.
