Giselle is set to marry her prince when she is sent to New York. While there, she meets divorce lawyer Robert and his daughter Morgan.
This is actually really cute. Rhe queen doesnt want her step son marrying as she soesnt want to lose the crown. Sending the fiance to New York had her falling in love with someone elae and because the woman couldnt leave it at that, she just ruined everything for herself.
The acting is pretty good, the characters are interesting although they’re pretty 1-dimensional. Even when there were parts that tried to give them a little more depth, it was like an after thought and didn’t achieve much. It’s mostly just a feel good movie that’s just there to make you happy and have fun. In the end, even the witch made things better. There’s not really much that can be said about this. The dresses were gorgeous though (ignoring the dress Giselle wore to the ball which was actually quite plain and dull, made even more so by all the nice dresses everyone else was wearing. The music is really catchy and fun to sing along with.
So, I think it’s worth the time to watch it, if only because you want something fun and pointless.
