Based on the double initial killing in New York in the early ’70s. Megan Paige is investigating the rape and murder of a young girl when she begins hallucinating and is taken off the case. A couple years later, similar murders are taking place again.

I hate “based on a true story” type of movie. They take as little as possible from the true story to say it’s based off of it. In the end, the only saving grace was Eliza Dushku. The story was horribly told, way too much was left out so you could barely make heads or tells of anything. They explained her hallucinations away as schizophrenia but it’s not said for sure if that’s actually it or if she’s sort of psychic. The guy she’s with at the beginning is sort of a dick. She’s looking into the rape and murder of a young girl and he just wants to get laid. Even though they work together. Then it seems they skip a couple years where she’s out of work and working on getting better, even being in a support group, but nothing a explained during this period. Then there’s a couple things about the killer that aren’t explained and I’m not going to go into detail since it’s a major spoiler, but I want answers. Like how long has he been doing that? For what purpose? Was it before his first kill? I don’t get it…

I guess if you wanna know what I’m talking about, you could skip to the end of the movie or something. But the movies so annoying it’s not worth it. Not enough is shown or answered and even more questions are left. At least for the real one you only have three questions. Who was it, why and where did he go?
