Hansel and Gretel are orphaned twins who were kidnapped by a witch as children. After they kill her, they become witch hunters. As a blood moon approaches, they then begin to learn about their past.

In all honesty, this sort of confused me. I can’t figure out the time. They have like, newer weapons while the clothing and candles would hint somewhere to the past. I hate movies like that… there were quite a few parts that I find funny though. Especially with the troll. But what I find funny includes blood. Hansel has an obvious sister complex although he does seem to take a bit of a liking to a woman the village people were going to kill. Gretel doesn’t seem very interested in much of anything until she meets the troll. Then the witches look like better dressed middle school goths, most of which had their brains replaced with dog brains.

Overall, I’m not convinced if it’s worth watching. Especially if you go into it expecting a horror movie.
