It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time
comedy
director: John Trent
writers: David Main, John Trent, Claude Harz
cast: Anthony Newly, Stefanie Powers, Isaac Hayes, Lloyd Bochner, Yvonne De Carlo, Henry Ramer, Lawrence Dane, John Candy

A jealous man tries to win back his ex wife.

I got the movie because of John Candy. He was the only person on both the front and back of the case and his name was big on the front. He didn’t show up until halfway through though. He had like three lines. One of which was something along the lines of “maybe she’s a fag too. You never know now a days” and another was just saying he’s a cop. It was boring and lame and the characters had nothing going for then. Even actors I liked didn’t help. Maybe if it was just John Candy and Isaac Hayes. They were the only characters that made any sense, even if they didn’t seem to be in it much.

Certainly not something I’d suggest watching. It’s just a waste of time.
