A cop is severely injured with little chance of survival. With his wife’s consent, he is turned into a cyborg and looks for his own murderer.
In all honesty, the only thing I liked about this was that I recognized some of the actors. I’m probably being unfair comparing it to the other movie, but this seemed even more cruel to Murphy than the other movie and I wanted his wife dead for giving them permission to do that to her husband. She was more than just selfish. Then it didn’t even have anything funny. It seemed sugar coated when it came to the violence and it wasn’t cheesy. All it really had was explosions. Even when people were shot it was sugar coated and clean. there were no hands getting blown of, very little blood and the grossest thing that happens is when they show what’s left of Murphys body.
Anyway, even though it had recognizable names and I wanted to watch this one to begin with, I’d be more apt to recommend the original movie. I thought even the third RoboCop movie was better than this.
