A group of 8 people from all over the world are able to connect mentally and are able to not only visit each other, but are also able to share their strengths. They must then team up to avoid getting hunted by people that see them as a threat.
In all honesty, it was all really confusing… But it was really interesting and there were quite a few interesting parts. The last third or quarter was a lot more interesting though. It actually started out pretty slow. I’m confused on why they’re suddenly able to connect to each other though, and there was a part at the end that makes very little sense as the only thing that makes any sense at all is to kill one of two guys, but they don’t kill either. The Korean woman (Sun I think her name was?) was majorly fuckin’ awesome though. It is a bit of a pain to watch though because it’s 8 different people, all with their own lives, and I personally, found it very difficult to keep up. I have a fairly good idea of what’s happening with Sun(?), Nomi, Van Damn(?) and the actor (name unknown), but everyone else is a little confusing. Although you get a bit about what’s happening with the others, it doesn’t seem to focus on them as much. There’s one story line that they didn’t get back to near the end. It’s bugging me. I want to know if the person survived or not.
Anyway, I don’t think you’re out much if you decide not to watch it, but I liked it well enough.
Now for a bit of a WARNING or whatever? There’s gay and lesbian characters, a transgendered character, there’s violence, murder, arm chopping, major fighting, gay sex scenes, an orgy (although I think it was mostly just humping and not actual sex), and 8 or 9 births. And things are graphic. There’s penis, boobs, ass, pussy, labour, sex, sex toys, domestic violence, blood, murder quite a few different ways. Probably not for the weak of heart, stomach or mind.
