Ciel and Sebastian join a circus, becoming ‘Smile’ and ‘Black’ respectively, to investigate missing children.
To start, it ignores the second season and picks up where the first season left off. Do you people understand how happy and excited I was when I first heard about this? This was probably the best season yet. The art, the colouring, the story. All great.
As for characters? Sebastian was even hotter than before (can you imagine an even hotter Sebastian?!), Ciel didn’t piss me off, Snake and his snakes were amazing, America showed up to mow the lawn, the love child of Hijikata and Gintoki had a love child with Sougo decided to blow up the kitchen (not sure why I didn’t see that before? But I can’t remember the “cooks” name), Mey-Rin lost her glasses, Finnian lost his hat and all became right with the world.
If you can’t figure it out for yourself already, this is a must see. However, if you haven’t watched any of it yet, I suggest you watch the rest. But I’d also suggest skipping the second season. Although it’s based on the story and the characters, the second season adds in stupid characters and a stupid story line with a horrible and depressing ending and completely ignores the manga.
