DESCRIPTION: A young girl and a pair of old twins have a curse that causes them to love their mothers more than what is socially acceptable.

To elaborate on the description a bit, the old men and the young girl both take up taxidermy. Can you guess what for?

Now, this is well written, interesting and entertaining. However, it touches upon incest. The children in the Rumbaugh family have Oedipus Complexes that are to the point that they’ve taken a page out of Norman Bates book (or Ed Gein. Whichever. But I don’t recall Ed Gein doing what they did to his mother). Not only that though, but Ivy, the main character, even brings up continuing the line with (might be a SPOILER) her father or uncle. (SPOILERS done). So, it’s because I’ve these reasons I know I won’t read it again and will be getting rid of it, but I will consider reading another book by this author if I come across any.
